Signal and data monitoring
The RF demodulator sequentially and automatically browses all the channels configured in the list. With an ASI input, GOLDENEAGLE DVB-T/H can also analyze and monitor a Transport Stream (MPEG2TS) directly.
For each channel, the user can customize the parameters which can trigger alarms. The available parameters depend on the hardware version (RF, ASI or RF+ASI) and on the software package purchased.

Real-time and recorded measurements
In addition to its monitoring role, the GOLDENEAGLE DVB-T/H also offers remote measurement features (real-time and recorded).
All values captured during the monitoring process are stored in the unit for 30 days, offering the possibility to perform historical analysis of data in graphic form. Reports can be generated from recorded data.
The GOLDENEAGLE DVB-T/H also offers real-time remote measurement, focusing the receiver on a selected channel.

MPEG services monitoring
The TS structure is compared to a reference structure that can be customized at will. Several references can be created to reflect planned structure modifications (switch from local to national program, to crypted format…) Any modification in the structure (change of language, missing service, unexpected component…) triggers an alarm allowing you to always be aware of the actual status of TS services.

Audio/video streaming and recording
Audio/video streaming allows remote viewing of any stream without moving from your desk. Should an alarm be triggered, it is possible to see, in real-time, the effects of the faulty parameter for the final user on any channel.
In addition to real time streaming, the user may also schedule up to 10 daily recordings. The video recording files are stored on the unit and can be downloaded directly from the application.
Automatic band-scanning
The GOLDENEAGLE DVB-T/H includes an automatic band scanning feature whereby the receiver will scan the entire DVB band (Terrestrial and Handheld) looking for multiplexes. Monitoring can also be performed to automatically detect any change on any of the stations in the band.
Changes can be set to trigger alarms.
MPEG Data expert analysis
With the optional “Expert” software module (available with at least one ASI input), the GOLDENEAGLE DVB-T/H can analyze information tables, both their contents and the organization of the MPE packets in the burst. It then also becomes a precision tool for in-depth data analysis.
This mode allows the recording of 30 s of Transport Stream data on the internal hard disk (demodulated from an RF input or directly on an ASI input) in order to perform further analysis.

A turnkey solution
Combined with Audemat’s additional tools ScriptEasy, SCRIPTEASY EasyLink and Broadcast Manager, the GOLDENEAGLE DVB-T/H can provide a complete network monitoring solution with remote control features.
The ScriptEasy application has the power to control and communicate with a large number of remote control units, while remaining accessible and easy to use.

ScriptEasy MasterView
SCRIPTEASY EasyLink is a powerful new tool that enables complete remote access of external equipment using serial protocols by linking the GOLDENEAGLE DVB-T/H to an available serial port on that equipment. EasyLink is currently available as an option for Ecreso FM transmitters and the Harris Z, Platinum and Diamond series providing access to over hundreds of parameters and readings. Other brands and models are available on request.
Broadcast Manager provides a global monitoring network solution with map views of your sites including current alarms.
